Cross country runners are young, show promise PDF Print E-mail

Seven returning letter winners will be running cross country for Perkins County this season.
Half of the girls squad is new to cross country and two veteran runners, Emily Kemling and Kendra Hoffert, return from last year’s 13th place team at the state cross country meet.
Mariah Curtis is returning to cross country for her senior year after competing at state cross country her freshman and sophomore year.
Four of the nine male runners in cross country this year competed last year.
“The runners seem to be ready to go and I am excited to see how the season progresses,” said PCS head cross country coach, Paula Wurst.
The season starts Sept. 4.
