Kelly B. Palmer, 31, of Grant, was sentenced in District Court on Monday, Oct. 19 by District Court Judge Donald E. Rowlands on three amended counts dating back to an arrest in August 2008.
Palmer’s case was heard in Keith County with her lawyer Michael Samuelson present along with Perkins County Attorney Rick Roberts.
Judge Rowlands ordered Palmer to serve 18 months probation on two amended counts of assault in the third degree, plus a $100 fine and court costs for possession of a controlled substance.      
Palmer was arrested at her residence in Grant last year following an altercation in the Grant City Park with four youth ranging in age from 10 to 15.
