Women involved in livestock are invited to a meeting in Grant to receive information on three areas of operation.

The informational meeting will be held on Monday, Dec. 14, from 9-11 a.m., at the Midwest Electric Cooperative meeting room at First and Washington Avenue in Grant. 

Sponsoring the meeting are Farm Service Agency, Natural Resources Conservation Service, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension. 

Topics for the informational livestock operation meeting include:

• Livestock disaster programs and farm loan information presented by Farm Service Agency;

• Information on the conservation stewardship program and environmental quality incentive program presented by Natural Resources Conservation Service;

• Grazing system information given by the UNL Extension.
