|“Give life, give blood”|
It is time again to give blood. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in Grant on Monday, Feb. 15 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the New Life Fellowship Church, 4th and Mitchem.
In light of what happened in Haiti recently, it should make us aware of how important it is to give blood. The Red Cross Blood Drive slogan is “Give Blood, Give Life.” That says so much.
Anyone who has been in a situation where they needed blood or had a family member in that situation understands how important donated blood can be.
Several of the recent blood drives in the state of Nebraska have been cancelled because of winter weather. The blood supply is not where they would like it to be, especially O type blood.
We want to encourage each of you who can donate to come on Monday and give. We are working with the Perkins County High School in educating our youth about giving blood. With parental consent and following certain guidelines, youth starting at 16 can give blood.
You are welcome to walk-in or give us a call at 308-352-4250 to schedule an appointment. Thank you so much.
