Consolidated 2010 scholarship applications available PDF Print E-mail

More than $11,000 to be awarded to area high school seniors.

Consolidated Telephone launches its 12th year of scholarships. A graduating senior at each of 14 high schools in the Consolidated service area will be awarded $800 toward a college of their choice.  

“We are always thrilled to be able to offer this educational opportunity to the communities we serve,” said Brian Thompson of the Consolidated Companies.  “These young people are the future of our area and of the state of Nebraska.  We are committed to helping them make the most of their opportunities.”

Applications are also available through the school counselors at Anselmo/Merna, Arthur, Brady, Curtis, Eustis, Hyannis, Maxwell, Maywood, Mullen, Paxton, Sandhills, Thedford, Wallace and Perkins County.  

The deadline for the application is March 3 and should be mailed to Consolidated Companies, Inc, Att: Brian Thompson, 6900 Van Dorn, Suite 21, Lincoln, NE, 68506.

Scholarship winners will be notified sometime in April. 

Consolidated has provided more than $100,000 to rural Nebraska students since beginning awarding scholarships. 

To qualify for a scholarship, students must demonstrate leadership, a commitment to community service and an interest in returning to rural Nebraska after college graduation.
