On Saturday, Feb. 27, Perkins County hosted a high school quiz bowl tournament.  The five teams competing played round-robin format.  

Records and results of the matches were:

Perkins Co. (1-3):  defeated Chase Co.

Sutherland #1 (3-1):  defeated Chase Co., Sutherland #2 and Perkins Co.

Sutherland #2 (1-3):  defeated Perkins Co.

Chase County (2-2):  defeated Sutherland #2 and Hayes Center

Hayes Center (3-1):  defeated Sutherland #1, Sutherland #2 and Perkins Co.

Perkins County’s next quiz bowl meet will be the SPVA Conference

Tournament on Tuesday, March 16 at 3 p.m. MT.  Perkins County will host this event.  

Spectators are welcome to attend.  There is no admission charge.

Perkins County team members include:  Calla Mailand, Elisa Carlson, Erik Hagan, Josh Sexson, Max Jones, Darrell Patten, Trevor Lee, Tori Osler, Danielle Spitz-McCannon and Amara Meyer.  They are coached by Deanne Bishop.
