The February figures for water use and gaming were released by Grant City Council at the March 9 meeting. 

Water Usage

During the month of February there were approximately 3.9 million gallons of water used, which is a decrease of nearly 737,000 from the previous month of January.

This February also shows a decrease in comparison to the figures for water in February 2009. Comparing one year ago, there were nearly 1.1 million fewer gallons used during the month. 

Lotto

In February, the total sales for lotto at DJ’s Bar and Grill were approximately $19,632. 

Payout for the game was just over $14,025, leaving a net of approximately $5,600.
