According to information received from the Perkins County Sheriff’s Office, a rollover south of Grant during the first part of March was the result of muddy road conditions.
On March 8, 48-year-old Jacqueline Triplette of rural Venango had to be extricated from her vehicle by personnel from the Grant Volunteer Fire Department after she rolled one-and-a-quarter times.
Triplette was driving a silver 2003 GMC pickup northbound on Perkins County Road 324, four miles west and a little over two miles south of Grant when slippery roads caused her to overcorrect/oversteer and roll into the west ditch, according to the sheriff’s report.
Triplette was traveling alone and was trapped in the vehicle. After being extricated by the GVFD personnel, she was then transported by ambulance to the Perkins County Community Hospital for neck injuries.
