(Below) Kaden Wykert is all smiles after winning an air rifle in the drawing held for children in attendance. The Perkins County chapter of Pheasants Forever was inaugurated early last year, with the first chapter banquet taking place February 2009. Established in 1982, Pheasants Forever is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of pheasant and other wildlife populations in North America through habitat improvement, land management, public awareness and education.
