Early bird registration deadline is April 1 for 4-H camp PDF Print E-mail

Youth looking for a fun summer camp to attend need look no further than Nebraska 4-H Camps and Centers during May-August near Gretna, Alma or Halsey.

Registrations are now being accepted for the Nebraska 4-H Camps and Centers, which are open to all youth. 

Campers who register before April 1 receive a 10 percent discount.

Facilities are modern and well-maintained, and staff is employed and trained by University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension.

All three sites are ACA accredited which means each operation meets over 300 standards established by the American Camp Association.

The Nebraska State 4-H Camp near Halsey is located in the Nebraska National Forest.

April 12: Perkins County Schools Poetry Contest, 4 p.m. at elementary in Grant.

March 31: Deadline to contact the extension office at 352-4340 if interested in a new 4-H club focusing on rabbits.
