Plainsmen girls get second consecutive first place title at home track meet PDF Print E-mail

Perkins County’s home meet on Saturday, April 10 resulted in a first place finish for the girls (103 points) and fifth place for the boys (55 points) among 10 other participating teams.

Following behind Perkins County girls was the North Platte St. Pat’s Lady Irish with 85 points. Third place went to Hershey, 82; fourth Gordon Rushville, 68; fifth Chase County, 63; sixth Ogallala, 54; seventh Southwest, 50; eighth Sutherland, 35; ninth Perkins County JV, 10; 10th Garden County, 7 and 11th Chase County JV, 1.

Ogallala took top honors on the boys side with a score of 111. They were followed by second place Hershey with 94 points; third went to Gordon/Rushville, 80; fourth Sutherland, 66.5; sixth North Platte St. Pat’s, 57; seventh Chase County, 51; eighth Garden County, 22; ninth Southwest, 18; 10th Ogallala JV, 2; and 11th Wauneta-Palisade, 1.
