For the fourth consecutive week, Perkins County girls took first place in track and field competition, winning the meet held at Imperial on Tuesday, April 20.

First place medals were brought home by Brooke Poppe in the 100 meter hurdles; Elisa Carlson in the 800 meter run; Ashley Kemling in the 1600 meter run; Mackenzie Hite in the long jump; Debbie Dahlkoetter in discus and Jenni Sis, Brooke Poppe, Mackenzie Hite and Elisa Carlson in the 4x400 relay.
