Perkins County girls once again ran away with the gold, winning the Panther Invitational at Hershey by over 30 points. 

Individual performances by Jenni Sis in sprints, Ashley Kemling in distance and Mackenzie Hite, Elisa Carlson and Debbie Dahlkoetter in field events, as well as a first place finish by the 4x100 meter relay team contributed to the 133 team points the girls earned.

With 97 points, North Platte St. Pat’s was second, Hershey was third with 94 points, Chase County finished fourth with 83.5, Mullen fifth with 75 points, Sutherland sixth with 51.5, Garden County seventh with 22, Chase County JV finished eighth with 1 point, and Perkins County JV and Hershey were ninth and 10th with 0 points apiece.

In boys competition, Perkins County finished in sixth place with 52 points. Coming in first place was Sutherland with 125 points, second went to Hershey with 104. Third place was earned by North Platte St. Pat’s who scored 101 points. Chase County was fourth with 72, Mullen fifth with 66 points, Garden County seventh with 31, Hershey JV eighth with 5. Chase County JV was ninth with 2 points and Perkins County JV and North Platte St. Pat’s JV were 10th and 11th with scores of 0.
