PC girls continue winning streak PDF Print E-mail

Perkins County track and field athletes participated in the South Platte Valley Association conference meet on Friday, April 30.

Out of six participating teams, Perkins County girls once again took top honors, scoring 137 points. North Platte St. Patrick’s (109) was second, Chase County (93) third, Sutherland (82) fourth, Hershey (72) fifth and Maxwell (33) sixth.

Setting a new school record and taking first place in the discus competition was junior thrower Debbie Dahlkoetter with a 119’ 2” throw.

The Perkins County boys finished in the fifth place spot with 59.5 points. Hershey was first with 135 points, Sutherland (110) second, North Platte St. Pat’s (96) third, Chase County (79) fourth and Maxwell (47.5) sixth.
