|Attendance encouraged at wildlife and habitat conservation meetings|
Nebraska Department of Agriculture (NDA) Director Greg Ibach is encouraging farmers and ranchers to attend upcoming public input meetings that will address a plan for conserving the state’s wildlife and their habitats.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is currently coordinating an update to the Nebraska Natural Legacy Project plan.
The plan, which was created and first adopted five years ago, serves as a blueprint for conserving the state’s animals, plants, and natural habitats through voluntary, non-regulatory programs.
