New school records set by Kemling, Sis during Dundy County-Stratton Twilight PDF Print E-mail

Plainsmen tracksters Ashley Kemling and Jenni set Perkins County Schools records during the Dundy County-Stratton Twilight Invitational meet on Friday, May 7. 

Sis won the 200 meter dash in 26 seconds, and also took first in the 100 and 400. She teamed with Brooke Poppe, Mackenzie Hite and Elisa Carlson to take first in the 1,600 meter relay.

With a time of 5:59.4, Ashley Kemling set a school record in the 1,600, finishing second.Earlier in the season, she set the new school record in the 800.

Kemling, along with Carlson, Kristin Beck and Hite, won the 3,200 meter relay. 

Carlson took top billing in the pole vault, Beck took gold in the 3,200 meter run, and Hite placed first in the triple jump. 

Poppe placed first in the 300 hurdles. 

Debbie Dahlkoetter took gold in the discus for the Plainsmen.
