Heart & Hands program coming to Paxton PDF Print E-mail

Lincoln Extension is proud to bring volunteers in the community the Heart & Hands Program.  

The program will be held Thursday, June 3, at Ole’s restaurant, Paxton, starting at 6 p.m. MDT.  

This educational program presented by UNL extension 4-H youth development educators will provide volunteers with information on how to be a caring adult who can empower youth to reach their full potential. 

The Heart & Hands educational program line-up includes: 

Essential Elements: Learn why the essential elements are important when working with youth and how you can make them work for you.

Service Learning: Elevate your community service to a higher level of service-learning.

Intergenerational Partnerships: Discover how and why intergeneration programming provide an opportunity where people from diverse backgrounds, ages and life experiences can share, grow and build a stronger community.

UNL Extension Resources:  Learn about a wide variety of resources available through UNL Extension 4-H Program.

Going Green: Discover fun hands on activities to do with youth that will help to save our environment.

Program pre-registration fee is $10, $15 at the door.
