A real treat awaits “the oldest generation” and each generation since, when the “Avi8ors” come to Grant this summer.

Performing live at the airport, the World War II USO-style singers will perform a wide range of songs from the 30s and 40s to entertain and inspire a diverse audience.

On Sunday, June 27, an open house at the Grant Municipal Airport will feature the Young Eagles in the morning, viewing of a WWII trainer plane, food concessions, and the musical show by the Avi8ors in the afternoon.

Plans are yet to be firmed up as far as time slots, but anyone who has an interest in the WWII era will want to be sure to mark their calendars for this special one-day event.
