|Poster contest celebrates homes|
National Homeownership Month was celebrated by Southwest Nebraska Community Betterment Corporation and USDA Rural Developent through a poster contest for kindergarten through fourth grade students. Posters were centered around the theme: “What My Home Means to Me,” and included a representation of housing.
All winners received a medal and achievement certificates provided by Burge Auction and Daiss Realty of Grant.
Entries were judged on the best use of contest theme, originality, visual impact and artistic merit.
They will be featured during homeownership month (June) at various locations around Grant.
