Grant VFD members attend fire school PDF Print E-mail

Eleven members of the Grant Volunteer Fire Department were part of the estimated 1,200 individuals attending the 73rd annual Nebraska State Fire School in Grand Island on May 21-23. 

Ten members completed 12 hours of training in the class listed after their name: Harlan Rahn, grain bin rescue; Rick Dreiling, grain bin rescue; Chasity Tunison, EMS, infectious control and bio hazard preparedness; Becca Lagler, protecting our own and line of duty deaths; Brad Dickinson, protecting our own and line of duty deaths; Kile Goodwin, agricultural equipment extrication; Donald Softley, fire chief’s tool box; Seth Cockerill, emergency vehicle operations; Cassandra Cockerill, fire investigations; Jessie Shireman, CSI Nebraska. 

Fred Reichert attended the fire school serving as a presenter of two events during the Nebraska Fire Happenings Class.
