|Wallace School loses five instructors to retirement|
By Jan Rahn
Wallace School will be seeking replacements for five of their faculty as summer rolls around.
A ceremony was held during honors night to say goodbye to Lynda Monson, Kathy Fowler, Judy Seger, Vee Griffiths and Jeanie Daiss.
“There are certainly big shoes to fill when you have this many experienced employees retire at once,” said Superintendent R. Todd Porter. “These folks have been dedicated employees that have been part of our school district for many years and have been positive role models for all of us.”
The five educators retired from the district effective with the last day of school May 13.
“We will miss them greatly and we wish them the absolute best in their retirements,” said Porter. “We hope to see them at our activities next year and for many years to come.”
