|New medical helicopter to better serve area|

Time spent waiting for a life flight helicopter when a critical patient needs transportation will diminish, thanks to a new air ambulance going into service June 15.
Midwest Medical Transportation Company’s new air ambulance made a flight to Grant last Wednesday to give hospital staff, emergency medical services personnel and the public an opportunity to see firsthand what it has to offer.
“This will be a great asset for us to be so close to such a service,” said Perkins County Health Services (PCHS) Administrator Pam Holm.
“The time limitations to fly someone out of here as quickly as possible will be at a minimum.”
