|New sheriff’s contracts signed across the county|

The City of Grant and each of the villages in the county have entered into a law enforcement services contract for the fiscal year 2010-11 with the Perkins County Sheriff’s Office.
During one of their May meetings, Grant, Venango, Madrid and Elsie each accepted the law enforcement services agreement for one year beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2011.
• Madrid: Law enforcement personnel will provide active and ongoing patrol within the jurisdiction of the Village of Madrid for 40 hours each month.
• Venango: The Village of Venango will receive law enforcement presence for 25 hours per month.
• Elsie: Law enforcement will be present in the Village of Elsie for 20 hours per month.
• Grant: Within the City of Grant, patrol service will be provided for an average of eight hours per day for no less than 2,920 hours of patrol per year.
