|Grant native appointed to Doane Board of Trustees|
Tim Wilson, a Grant native, and graduate of Doane College, has been appointed to Doane College’s Board of Trustees.
Wilson is a partner at BKD, LLP accounting firm in Omaha, where he has worked for the past nine years. BKD, LLP is the 10th largest CPA and advisory firm in the U.S.
Wilson is the son of Rex and Pat Wilson of Grant.
Prior to taking a position with BKD, Wilson was with Grant Thornton, LLP for 11 years.
Outside of work, Wilson serves as a Boy Scout volunteer, a member of Christ the King school board and as treasurer for CampFire USA, the Omaha Sports Commission and the Association for Corporate Growth (Nebraska Chapter)
Wilson and his wife Beth, who also attended Doane, have three children and reside in Omaha. Wilson received a bachelor of arts in accounting.
Doane’s Board of Trustees gathers for sessions each fall and spring. Board member terms are three years, and representatives are eligible for re-election.
