Show your appreciation this Sunday PDF Print E-mail

Dear Editor:

The Avi8ors are performing at the Grant Airport Sunday, June 27. The program begins at 1:15 p.m.

Who are The Avi8ors? They are a group of three women and one man, singing songs of WWII like they used to do at USO, dressed in WWII uniforms, organized in 1999 from the Omaha area.

They have performed many places bringing joy and memories to many, just wonderful.

The Experimental Aircraft Association is responsible for bringing this group to Grant, thanks much.

Events start at 9 a.m. with military aircraft and memorabilia on display.

Kids airplane rides with written consent from parents.

The program starts at 1:15.

This is for everyone and they would really like to have all veterans and families come and celebrate the American spirit.

Let’s fill that airplane hangar with people to show our appreciation and patriotic respect for those who have served our country and those who gave their all for our freedom, and the many still serving.

See you at the hangar—it’s free!

P.S. It would be great if all the service men and women would wear their uniforms.
