|Annual safety conference Oct. 7 in Scottsbluff|
The Nebraska Safety Council of Lincoln is presenting the annual Panhandle Safety Conference and Exposition on Oct. 7 from 8:30 a.m.. to 3:30 p.m. at Western Nebraska Community College in the John N. Harms Advanced Technology Center.
This conference is for safety professionals, human resource personnel, supervisors, managers and all those who would like to better understand how to keep their employees and facilities on the cutting edge of the safety and health issues of today.
Topics featured at this year’s conference include:
• Creating Positive Attitudes Toward Your Safety Culture, Dr. Gay Leitz CSP, safety engineer and trainer, Louisville, Colo.
• Making “Cents” of Medical Case Management, Jodi Roberts, RN, BSN, CLNC, field base case manager, OHARA LLC, Omaha.
• Employee Involvement and Safety Success, Dan Saathoff, VPPPA Region VII Chairperson, Eaton Corporation, Kearney.
An OSHA Update Like No Other, Doug Fletcher, CIH CSP, compliance assistance specialist, OSHA, Omaha.
The conference will also host a trade show featuring products and services.
Pre-registration is required for the conference through Sept. 15.
After Sept. 15, the fee will go up. A company registering two people can send a third for free.
