|Strong wind factors into last week’s golf scores|

Just one stroke away from placing, Emily Kiolbasa’s score of 116 put her in 11th place at the Creek Valley Invite on Thursday, Sept. 2.
Kiolbasa scored 58-apiece on each set of holes.
The golfers endured a frustrating day of 30-40 mph winds, said Coach Troy Kemling, with the most difficult aspect being putting.
“The wind actually blew balls uphill on some putts,” he said. “In fact, if the wind would have been stronger, the meet might have been called due to balls moving on the greens.”
“Even though it was a tough day, the ladies did a nice job of putting forth their best efforts,” he said.
