|Golfers gain experience on challenging Kimball course|
By Shari Friedel
A difficult, hilly course along with strong winds made the Kimball Invitational a challenge for the Perkins County girls golf team on Thursday, Sept. 16.
The conditions made it easy to overshoot holes once on the green.
Stephanie Reichert and Emily Kiolbasa led the team, both playing very well at times, according to Coach Troy Kemling. Ball striking, especially driving, was strong.
Kiolbasa scored a consistent 62-64 for 126 and Reichert scored a 65 on the front nine, then 60 for a total of 125.
