Hagan selected as September Senior of the Month PDF Print E-mail

Jeremy Hagan has been selected as Senior of the Month for September 2010.

Hagan has been an active member of FFA, mock trial, student council, National Honor Society and Perkins County Youth Council during his high school career.

He held the office of president his freshman, junior and senior years.

He was a member of the football team, basketball team was involved in track and soccer.

Band, chorus, musicals, one acts and spring plays were also included in his high school  experience.

He has received several honors through his participation in scholastics and sports.

Community service projects Hagan has participated in include coaching youth basketball, volunteering for Orphan Grain Train, helping with retirement community bingo, volunteering at the 2008 election and painting at the fairgrounds. 

He has also been involved in youth basketball camps, Cornhusker Boys State, Perkins County School Foundation Fourth of July, the Sweetheart Dinner and Zion Lutheran Youth Group.

Hagan has worked on the family farm all his life.

He has loved growing up in Perkins County and has enjoyed the support of the community.

After graduation in May 2011, Hagan plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His field is as yet undecided, but he is most interested in math and meteorology.

For being selected Senior of the Month, Hagan’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and he will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.

The Student of the Month and scholarship program are sponsored Pinnacle Bank of Grant and members of the community.
