|September FFA news released|
The Perkins County FFA Chapter has started off the school year with 22 new members. On Sept. 22, 52 of the 60 chapter’s members went to Haigler, for range judging.
Brady Mailand finished in the top 25 percent of the junior division, and Riley Kosmicki was the chapter’s top senior finisher.
The new greenhouse and aquaponics bay project has gotten underway. The high school’s horticulture class has been busy clearing out the area where the aquaponics bay will be placed.
Mr. Terwilliger’s building construction classes have been working on the greenhouse. They have the foundation and the forms set and the bows put up. If everything goes as planned, they are hoping to have the project completed by November.
