Dress up your pet and join in the fun when the Perkins County Animal Shelter hosts a Halloween benefit. What a great concept for Halloween—showcasing your pet so potential pet adoptees will be well taken care of until they find a home.

On Saturday, Oct. 30, the shelter is hosting a spaghetti supper and a “Pet Halloween Costume Contest” as a benefit.

The event will take place from 2-6 p.m. at the 4-H building at the Perkins County Fairgrounds.

Prizes will be given for the best costume in each catetory. Entries of your costumed pet will be $5.

To get an idea of how much spaghetti to make, participants are asked to RSVP at 308-352-2630. Adults will be charged $8 and children 12 and under will eat for $5.

Plan to take part in this fun Halloween event. Put your best paw forward and plan to bring the “whole” family.
