Chamber hosts Christmas kickoff PDF Print E-mail

Santa came to town, Cowboy Capitol Chorus barber shoppers entertained, food and cider aromas filled the air, turkeys were given away, shoppers delighted in bargains, and a good time was had by all who strolled the street last Thursday night during Chamber’s Christmas open house event in Grant. Children could skate, visit Santa and eat with the family as parents interacted with friends and got down to business in getting some serious Christmas shopping done. Retailers stayed open late and each of the banks hosted numerous vendors selling wares that ranged from baked goods and holiday baskets to homemade crafts and beauty products. At the end of the evening, Chamber gave away five turkeys in a drawing. (Right) Four-year-old Ava Reese is putting a lot of thought into exactly what she wants to ask Santa for. He made a stop through town and had special seating at The Barber Pole where each child got a complimentary photo by Alee Photography and received a candy cane. (Photo by Jan Rahn)
