Tribune seeking current locations of area troops PDF Print E-mail

By Jan Rahn

Managing Editor

With the holidays very near, there is much to think about—bringing to mind those who provide the freedom for Americans to go where they want and do what they want during the season.

Our troops are important, and The Grant Tribune-Sentinel would like to publish current addresses of area military personnel in hopes they receive mail during December.

At one time, the newspaper had locations on area military personnel, however, not being informed on who returned home or who was deployed made it impossible to keep track of where they were stationed.

Families and friends are asked to be responsible for submitting addresses to the paper as soon as possible so that they can be published in a timely manner.

The Tribune will publish the address of a soldier, whether overseas or stateside, who will not be home during the holidays.

With only three more issues until Christmas, we ask that up-to-date information be sent to us immediately via e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or fax: 308-352-4101, or by phone 308-352-4311.

Everyone is asked to take part in brightening the season for our troops.
