PCHS students participate in music clinics at the University of Nebraska-Kearney PDF Print E-mail

On Monday, Jan. 24, nine Perkins County High School students spent the day at the University of Kearney’s Band and Choral Clinic.  These students were selected to participate after sending in audition tapes. They spent a day filled with music, practicing with over 650 other high school students from 109 different schools, in preparation for an evening concert.
Those participating were Emma Friedel and Lacey Jensen in the Women’s Choir; Colton White in the Festival Choir, and Debbie Dahlkoetter, Krystal Gaar, Calla Mailand and John Prante in the Honor Choir.  Ashley Kemling, flute, and Callie Meyer, baritone, were both first chair in the Festival Band.
