Defendant arraigned on theft charges PDF Print E-mail

Joshua D. Waterman, 20, was arraigned in District Court on Friday, Feb. 25 on five counts of alleged theft.
Waterman entered a not guilty plea to pending charges of alleged theft totaling $8,425.82 from Sargent Irrigation in Grant during the later part of 2010.
A status hearing was set for April 4 by District Court Judge Donald E. Rowlands, at which time progress in the case will be reviewed.
Attorney Robert S. Harvoy of Ogallala has been appointed to represent the defendant on the following charges:
Aug. 2: Alleged theft of brass impellers with a value of $675.96, a Class IV Felony.  
Aug. 15: Alleged theft of brass impellers with a value of $2,389.50, a Class III Felony.
Aug. 24: Alleged theft of brass impellers with a value of $300.70, a Class I Misdemeanor.
Nov. 8: Alleged theft of brass impellers with a value of $887.40, a Class IV Felony.
Nov. 29: Alleged theft of brass impellers with a value of $4,172.26, a Class III Felony.
