Community members and visitors to Grant are invited to make Meadowlark Gallery one of their stops while out and about, enjoying the spring weather Friday and Saturday evenings during the month of March.
In celebration of Youth Art Month, as in years past, the Perkins County Area Arts Council is displaying student art from Perkins County Schools at the gallery at the corner of 3rd and Central, downtown Grant.
Under the instruction of Lance Wurst, high school students have submitted a  variety of works, including graphite, ceramics, mixed media, photography and collage. Their creations have been on display since March 4 and will continue through this weekend.
Susan Hanson’s elementary and junior high school student projects will be on display March 18-19 and 25-26.
Visit Meadowlark Gallery on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6-8 p.m. and check the arts council website at for past shows and a current gallery schedule.
The gallery is operated by the Perkins County Area Arts Council, who meets the second Thursday of each month, 7 p.m. at the gallery. The public is invited to join.
