‘Jumpstart Your College Career’ seminars offered in April PDF Print E-mail

High school students, parents and non-traditional students who are considering going to college have an opportunity to jumpstart their college careers by attending a two-evening seminar offered by Mid-Plains Community College and Wells Fargo Bank.
Night one of the seminars will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, April 11, and night two will be on April 18.
The seminars will take place simultaneously at Imperial High School in Imperial and the ESU 16 classroom in Ogallala.
Topics discussed in night one will be “Registration and Enrollment Issues” presented by MPCC Academic Advisors, “School Selection” by MPCC Recruiting and Admissions and “Student Support Services” by MPCC Student Success and Retention representatives.
Topics covered in night two include “Show Me the Money” and “Scholarship Information” presented by representatives from MPCC’s financial aid office and “Financial Aid Literacy–Living on a Student Budget” by Wells Fargo Bank.
