|New physician assistant begins practice at Grant Medical Clinic|

Pursuing a career in a small town is a goal recently met for the new physician assistant at Perkins County Health Services.
Brandon Fraley officially began his new full-time position at the Grant Medical Clinic on Feb 2.
He will administer to patients with various health problems in the clinical setting, as well as make rounds in the hospital. Fraley will also provide coverage in the emergency room.
The Doane College graduate from Chester and his wife, Alicia, do not have children yet, but their desire to live in a rural community is based on the belief they want to raise a family in that type of setting.
After recently receiving his Master’s Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Fraley began looking for a practice in a small community.
Their recent move to Grant has been a positive one.
“The community has been great,” said Fraley. “Everyone we have met so far has been very nice and helpful in making us feel welcome. My wife and I had wanted to move back to a smaller town, and our reasons for doing so have come through in the community the longer that we are here.”
The Fraleys enjoy outdoor activities such as can be found around Perkins County and neighboring areas, like boating, golfing and other sports, as well as hunting.
Their goal of finding the perfect place to live while pursuing their goals, as well as Perkins County Health Services fulfilling a need at the Grant Medical Clinic is a win-win situation.
