The annual Easter Egg Hunt was held Saturday, April 23, after being postponed from the 16th because of the snow storm.
The Elsie Community Development Organization sponsored the egg hunt which took place on the lawn of the Methodist Church.
Many children from sixth grade on down through pre-school were present to hunt for bright and colorful eggs carefully prepared and hidden by Holly and Jenny Copple, Alyssa Rosentrater, Michele Cutler, Rosalie Curtis, and Kim Copple.
Six special eggs were marked for grand prizes which were found by Nathan Hastings and Mason Barrett in the pre-school division; Julianna Rosentrater and Cora Hastings in the K-2 grade division; and Emily Kennicutt and Hannah Robertson in the 3-6 grade division.
A nice time was had by all.
