Willie Nelson to perform at the Nebraska State Fair.
Willie Nelson is set to perform at the Nebraska State Fair on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
According to State Fair special events coordinator, Chelsey Jungck, “Willie Nelson has had a career that other performers only dream about and we’re very excited to have him at this year’s event.”
Willie Nelson’s career has spanned a half-a-century as a singer, songwriter and actor.
Jungck says, “Willie has penned more than a few tunes that have become American classics. Among them, “Crazy,” Night Life” and the sublime “Funny How Time Slips Away.”
With personal hits like “You Were Always on My Mind,” “On the Road Again,” and “Seven Spanish Angels,” Willie has defied convention with his ability to sing just about anything–and to anyone he pleases,” Jungck said.
Willie’s new album American Classic is an album of standards representing old-school
record-making at its most sumptuously swinging, with a lighthearted yet sophisticated jazz feel. Willie will bring it all to the Nebraska State Fair in September.
