Nebraska Life seeking medical stories
As part of America’s ongoing health care debate, Nebraska Life Magazine will publish a special section on Nebraska health care in an upcoming issue.
This section will take a look at how Nebraska’s medical community is enhancing the already high quality of life enjoyed by Nebraska residents.
For its special-section coverage, the magazine is soliciting stories from Nebraskans who have received exemplary medical treatment in the state.
“Nebraska’s medical community comes together to provide life-changing services every day,” said Nebraska Life Publisher and Editor Christopher Amundson. “We want to hear these stories.”
The magazine is especially interested in hearing about medical staff, EMTs, hospitals and clinics that have gone above and beyond the call of duty. The magazine also wants to know about collaborative partnerships and the use of new technology, especially in rural Nebraska.
Amundson said residents and medical staff who wish to submit their stories may do so by email, mail or through the magazine’s Facebook site.
The deadline to submit stories is Monday, July 18. Submissions may be sent by email to
or by mail to 206 W. Norfolk Avenue, Norfolk, NE 68702-0819.
The special health care section will be available in the magazine’s September/October 2011 issue, available on newsstands Sept.1, or by subscription for $21 per year at www.NebraskaLife.com and by calling the magazine publishing offices in Norfolk at 1-800-777-6159.
