Carlson named to Dean’s List

Emily Carlson of Grant was named to the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Nursing Kearney Division Dean’s list for the 2011 spring semester.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must be enrolled for 12 or more hours during the semester and have a grade point average of 3.75 or above.

Dahlkoetter on Morningside Dean’s List

Danielle Dahlkoetter, daughter of Dennis and Cynthia Dahlkoetter of Grant was named to the Dean’s Honor List at Morningside College for the 2011 second semester honor roll.
Dahlkoetter, a sophomore with a major in psychology counseling, is a graduate of Perkins County High School.
Each semester the Dean’s Honor list recognizes students who achieve a 3.67 grade point average (GPA) or better and complete at least 12 credits of course work with no grade below a “C-.”
William C. Deeds recently released the 2011 spring semester Dean’s Honor List, and each student received a letter of recognition from Deeds.
Morningside College enrolled 1,991 full-time and part-time students for the 2010-11 academic year and welcomes students of all faiths and backgrounds.
Morningside offers five bachelor’s degrees, including bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of music, bachelor of music education, and of nursing, and a master of arts in teaching degree.
The college was founded in 1894 by the Methodist Episcopal Church and remains affiliated with the United Methodist Church today.
