Osler chosen as September Senior of the Month PDF Print E-mail

Perkins County High School senior Tori Osler has been selected as September 2011 Senior of the Month.
She is the daughter of Scott and Debbie Osler of rural Elsie.
Osler has demonstrated her leadership throughout high school with her involvement in school and community activities.
She has been involved in FCCLA, student council, band, mock trial, chorus and drama.
She has participated in volleyball, basketball and track throughout high school and spent several summers as a member of the local swim team.
She held the class office of president for four years.
She was inducted to the National Honor Society and has served on student council.
An accomplished vocalist, Osler was chosen to sing a solo on the Nebraska Ambassadors of Music Choir Tour in Europe in summer 2011.
She has participated in the fall musicals all four years of high school .
She has also been involved in 4-H, and served on 4-H Council.
In service to the community, Osler has taught Sunday School, led youth group, has sang at the senior center, nursing home and alumni banquet, has participated in several projects through FCCLA, among other activities.
With the dream of being a diplomat, Osler is considering pursuing a career in international affairs, possibly as an ambassador increasing understanding between Christian and Muslim groups.
For being selected Senior of the Month, Osler’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and she will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.
The Student of the Month and scholarship program are sponsored by Pinnacle Bank of Grant and members of the community.
