Sandhills Symphony to give free concert in North Platte PDF Print E-mail

The Sandhills Symphony is entering its 51st year of performance in North Platte. They will be playing on Oct. 30, 3 p.m. in the North Platte High School performing arts center, 1000 W. 2nd St.
Concerts are free and open to the public.
The 50-piece traditional symphony plays a mixture of classics, popular and music from movies and Broadway stage productions. Some of the musical selections for the upcoming concert are James Bond Medley, Blue Tango, Blue Moon and Pizzicato Polka.
The fall concert will be under the direction of a new conductor, Maestro Bryan Bohn, who is generating a lot of youthful enthusiasm within the symphony.
The symphony is a 501(c) corp. and does accept donations at the door or by mail.
