Blood drive is next week at Wallace
Wallace Student Council and National Honor Society will be hosting their annual blood drive Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
A goal for the units of blood to be collected is set for each blood drive—the goal for this drive is 47 units of blood.
Students 16 years of age can donate by filling out a form that requires a parent’s signature.
These forms are available in the principal’s office.
Students 17 years of age and older must be within the designated weight and height requirements.
Appointments are strongly encouraged due to the short amount of time scheduled for the drive.
Walk in donors will be allowed but they will be fit into the scheduled appointments accordingly.
To schedule an appointment or ask any questions, contact LaDonna Swedberg or Deb Jameson at the Wallace School.
The blood banks are struggling to keep up the amount of blood needed on every given day and this problem usually is worse during the holiday season.
Start this holiday season by helping someone out and giving the gift of life.
