Motorists will pay more for fuel this Thanksgiving PDF Print E-mail

Motorists traveling by car during the Thanksgiving holiday period will find unleaded gasoline up 50 cents a gallon compared to last year.
In Nebraska, unleaded fuel averages $3.42 a gallon. AAA reports that Ethanol blends at some outlets in Nebraska are as low as $3.20 a gallon.
During the past week, crude oil prices climbed above $100 a barrel in the U.S. trading market.
Prices for processed fuel, however, remained reasonable.
With upward pressure on demand for fuel products due to the holiday weekend, combined with rising crude oil costs, AAA says that motorists will likely see fuel prices rise during the next few weeks.
