Play production team performs for public; places third at SPVA PDF Print E-mail

Perkins County’s play production team ended up in third place in the SPVA play production competition on Monday, Nov. 21.
Originally in a three-way tie for first place with Chase County and Maxwell, the tie-breaking system found Chase County taking the first place title, Maxwell second and Perkins County in third place, with their performance of “Brownstone 213” by Ann Cerv.
Several Perkins County students received honors for their performances.
Named to the all-conference cast were Michael Dreiling, Tanya Metcalf and Christian Miyamoto. Quinton Hite received an honorable mention. Tanya Metcalf was named top female performer in the conference.
On Wednesday, Dec. 30 the team will travel to North Platte High School for district competition.
