GPRMC welcomes interventional cardiologist PDF Print E-mail

Great Plains Regional Medical Center welcomes Dr. Satya Nelluri to the North Platte medical community. Board Certified in interventional cardiology, Dr. Nelluri joined Great Plains Heart & Vascular Center and began seeing patients Nov. 2.
Dr. Nelluri was most recently a member of the Stockton Cardiology Medical Group in Stockton, Calif., and previously was an attending physician at three different hospitals, including St. Joseph Hospital in Stockton, Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center in Dearborn, Calif., and Wayne State University/St. John Hospital in Detroit, Mich. Dr. Nelluri is an accomplished researcher in different areas of cardiology and the impacts of various pharmaceutical drugs.
“We are excited to have Dr. Nelluri at the Great Plains Heart and Vascular Center,” said Greg Nielsen, CEO of Great Plains Regional Medical Center. “There’s a tremendous need for interventional cardiology services in west-central Nebraska, and Dr. Nelluri rounds out an exceptional team of physicians and staff. His expertise in interventional cardiology will be a big asset to the North Platte community.”
Dr. Nelluri completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Wayne State University/St. John Hospital and was a visiting fellow in nuclear cardiology at Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed an additional fellowship in cardiology and residency in internal medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from medical school at Guntur Medical College in Guntur, India.
