CSC to meet in Grant on Dec. 17
Make reservations by (today) Dec. 15th.
Memories are created by special events and being with special people. The holidays seem to bring back many fond memories and the Christian Womens’ Club is going to be “Making Christmas Memories” on Saturday, Dec. 17 with a luncheon starting at 12:30 p.m. MT.
Be sure to meet up with family and friends at the New Life Fellowship Church at 617 W 4th Street in Grant to make some new holiday memories.
There will also be lots of “Christmas Goodies” for sale as a fund raising event for Stonecroft ministries.
The tickets are available at the door and babysitting is provided with reservations.
Sharing her singing talent is Tammy Hollandsworth from Grant.
Traveling from Cheyenne, Wyo., Terri Brown will share her story of “Things Aren’t Always as They Seem!” Terri and her husband cared for their severely brain-damaged daughter for 14 years until she passed away in 1996.
Terri recently returned to the work force full time after 17 years of being at home. She shares the challenges of caring for her daughter and then coping with her death, raising three teenagers, starting a new job and her challenge of being a recovering “Messie.” She is a customer service rep for Health Insurance Company and she helps with her husband’s new landscaping business.
For reservations call Wanda Poppe at 308-353-1715 or Donna Lundvall at 308-352-2439 by Dec. 15.
The afternoon is sure to be a festive Holiday gathering “Making Christmas Memories” for everyone!
