Patrick is chosen January Senior of the Month PDF Print E-mail

Gabrielle Patrick, a senior at Perkins County High School, has been selected January’s senior of the month.
She is the daughter of Miguel and Alicia Patrick of rural Grant.
With ambitions of working with children in a future career, Patrick has enjoyed several volunteer opportunities with children’s programs through her church, and has participated in several high school activities.
After graduation, Patrick plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Kearney and major in elementary education with an endorsement in art.
Her high school activities include volleyball, basketball, FCCLA, band, chorus and participation in the musical.
She is a member of National Honor Society.
In community service, she has been a Wonderful Wednesays leader, Bible school director and helper, has landscaped at the Methodist Church and has taken collections for the food pantry and UNICEF and has volunteered as a babysitter for several occasions.
The past four years, she has been employed at Country Gardens Greenhouse and has babysat and landscaped for local families.
For being selected Senior of the Month, Patrick’s picture will hang in the lobby of Pinnacle Bank in Grant and she will be eligible for a scholarship awarded at the end of the school year.
The Student of the Month and scholarship program are sponsored by Pinnacle Bank of Grant and members of the community.
